Possible update to Android 4.2 for HTC One S

We all want to make the most of our smartphones and this is why the updates are possible. Unfortunately, they do not always go smoothly, as was the case for the HTC One S.

HTC One S had suffered technical problems following the posting of a possible update its system to Android 4.2. The community did not appreciate this lousy update that actually touched the Asian version of the device. Equipped with a Snapdragon S3 processor instead of a Snapdragon S4 like the other version, this model of HTC One S prompted its manufacturer to cancel the update for both versions rather than fill the gaps in the Snapdragon processor S3 abandoned by Qualcomm.

But good news for all owners of HTC One S: the petition at the time by the user seems to have paid off as one of Android developers LlabTooFeR announced July 17 that an update 4.2.2 is in preparation for HTC ONE S with the Snapdragon S4. However, it did not specify anything about the release date. Be patient.
